Keshon Roman and Jared Nelson have been named Pfeiffer Athletics co-Male Athletes of the Week.
Roman has been named the Pfeiffer Athletics Male Athlete of the Week. Competing against the top runners at the ECAC Indoor Championships, Roman had an outstanding meet. The sophomore won a pair of silver medals and broke a program record. In the 60-meter dash, Roman took the silver with a tremendous time of 7.02 seconds. He followed that up with a program-record 22.28 seconds in the 200-meter to grab a second silver for the Falcons.
Nelson broke a 21-year-old team record with 10 assists in a 25-4 route of Averett on Saturday afternoon. Nelson broke Kevin Iwanusa's record of nine assists in a game that stood since 1997 and added a goal and two ground balls on the day.
