Crowder Drains 25 as Men's Basketball Routs Washington Adventist 137-81

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer University senior James Crowder (High Point, NC) tied his career-high with 25 points, while setting a new personal-best with 15 rebounds, as the Falcons rolled to a 137-81 victory at Washington Adventist on Saturday night. The 137 points set a new season high for the Falcons as they improve to 4-2 overall while the Shock fall to 1-3.
Crowder equaled his 25 points last season against Queens going 8-of-12 from the field, 5-of-8 from behind the line and a perfect 4-of-4 at the charity stripe. In addition to Crowder, the Falcons had eight other players in double figures. Chris Woods (Thomasville, NC) tossed in 24 points, Jeff Pettiway (Edgewood, MD) and Isaac Carr (Irwinton, GA) each had 13, James Morse (Arundel, ME) scored a dozen, freshman Reggie Hollinger (Orlando, FL) had 11 while Kierre Jordan (Atlanta, GA), Athalie Rivera (Baltimore, MD) and Levi Moore (St. Augustine, FL) each had 10.
Pfeiffer shot 91% from the free throw line and 53% overall from the field. The Falcons will now take a break before their next contest on Sunday, January 3rd. The same Shock squad from Washington Adventist will make the return trip to Misenheimer just after the New Year at 2:00 p.m.
