Men's Cross Country Pulls Out Top-10 Finish at Royal XC Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pfeiffer University brought home a top-10 finish on Friday in the navy race of the 2010 Royal Cross Country Challenge held at McAlpine Park. UNC-Greensboro, the lone division one team in this particular field, won the event by 58 points over Montreat.

Will Oliver led the way with a time of 28:37 coming in 21st place overall. Cody Jones was hot on his heels coming in 25th with a time of 28:41. Freshman Greg Kielar clocking in with a time of 30:09 before Trey Sharpe and Zach Gray finished a second apart at 30:21 and 30:22.

Cody Bivens and Zack Allen rounded out team scoring with times of 31:09 and 31:43. Nadjee Harrigan and Grady Gaston completed Pfeiffer’s afternoon with times of 33:48 and 33:58.
