Men's Lacrosse Has Rose and Lamarca Named Preseason All-American's

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Face-Off Yearbook with insidelacrosse.com has named two members of the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team as preseason all-Americans. Justin Rose was tabbed to the nation’s second team while Anthony Lamarca was named as a honorable mention.

Rose, a Falcon midfielder, scored 29 goals with 10 assists a year ago. Rose’s 29 goals was second on the team while finishing third in assists. Rose also scooped up 29 groundballs, third most on the squad.

Lamarca, playing back on defense, picked up 38 groundballs with a team-high 17 caused turnovers. His 38 groundballs ranked second on the Falcons last season. Lamarca will anchor the Pfeiffer defense in 2011.

Rose, Lamarca and the Falcons will open up the 2011 campaign on February 19th traveling to Lenoir-Rhyne for a 2:00 p.m. faceoff.
