Women's Basketball Moves into Top-10 in Five Categories During Latest Release of NCAA II Statistics

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – In the latest NCAA II women’s basketball statistics released on Monday, Pfeiffer University has climbed into the top-10 in five categories while moving into the top-25 in another. Brittany Cox and Kellie Rhoney each appear twice in individual categories while the Lady Falcons show up twice in team categories.
Of the 300 individuals ranked, Cox has moved up to sixth in three-pointers per game now averaging just over three at 3.1. Cox is also inside the top-10 standing eighth in points per game at 20.3. Rhoney has slid into the top-five in assist to turnover ratio in fifth at 2.38 while advancing to ninth in assists per game at 5.6.
As a team out of 281, the Lady Falcons still stand third in the nation, first in the conference and first in the southeast region in triples per game at 8.7 while ranking 24th overall in scoring offense at 74.3. That mark is also good for best in the conference.
Cox, Rhoney and the rest of the Lady Falcons are back in action with a pair of league contests on the road at Mount Olive on Wednesday and Erskine on Saturday.
