February 19, 2012
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Pfeiffer University men and women's swim teams both wrapped up the 2012 Bluegrass Mountain Conference meet held at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center in 11th place. Six school-records fell in two different sessions with a pair of NCAA B-Cut times achieved as well.
School records began to fall on Thursday night as both the men and women's 200 freestyle relay teams shattered the old marks. The men followed that up with a school-best performance in the 400 medley relay while Elijah Bohon broke the first of his two records of the weekend in the 100 backstroke. Thursday also saw Andrew Corley swim a top NCAA B-Cut time in the 200 individual medley.
In Saturday's final session, Bohon again set a new mark in the men's 200 backstroke while also achieving a NCAA B-Cut. The women broke the school's final record in the 400 freestyle.
