Men's Golf Wraps Up T-8th at Rendleman Invitational; Bulmer Leads Falcons with Back-to-Back 74's

SALISBURY, N.C. - The Pfeiffer University men's golf team finished in a three-way tie for eighth at the 2012 Richard Rendleman Invitational hosted by Catawba College at the Country Club of Salisbury. Troy Bulmer would lead the way for the Falcons concluding T-22nd with back-to-back rounds of 74.

Behind Bulmer, Michael Blair would card an even-par 71 followed by a 78 on Tuesday to finish one shot behind Bulmer wrapping up T-24th. Luiz Jacintho carded a consistent 76/75 finishing inside the top-40 while Tyson Louth went 75/77. Chadd Marburger rounded out team scoring for the Falcons shooting a first round 79 with a final round 80.

UNC Pembroke won the team event firing a two-day total of 571 to top Lincoln Memorial by 10. Adam Hedges of Belmont Abbey won individual medalist honors with a 71 and 68.

Pfeiffer gets back to action March 19-20th heading to the Pinehurst Challenge hosted by Wingate University.
