MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer University head women's lacrosse coach Dawn Easley has been selected to play for the Haudenosaunee National Team which will compete in July's North American Cup and next summer's 2013 World Cup. Both tournaments will be played in Oshawa, Ontario in Canada. Coach Easley made the team after a pair of tryouts were held in May and June.

The current roster holds 25 players on it with practices being held now, leading up to this year's North American Cup and next year's World Cup held July 13-15th, 2013 featuring 16-18 teams from around the world.

The Haudenosaunee team, consisting of Native Americans from the U.S. and Canada, will take on Team USA along with both teams from Canada in next month's North American Cup. Team USA won the 2009 World Cup held in the Czech Republic.
