Keil Named New Head Coach for Men's Lacrosse

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer University Director of Athletics Mary Ann Sunbury has announced the hiring of Lars Keil as the next head coach of men’s lacrosse. Keil joins the Falcon staff after serving as an assistant at Bates College and Endicott College in the northeast.
Coming to Pfeiffer from Bates, Keil was responsible for all aspects of team defense and overall responsibility for administrative team duties, budget, recruiting, fundraising, community service and more. Keil led the Bobcats to a national ranking of seventh in man-down opportunities. Keil was also involved in the strength programs for the men’s lacrosse team.
At Endicott, Keil’s responsibilities including much of the same duties with team defense and team administration. Keil helped lead Endicott to a pair of league titles before reaching the second round of the NCAA III tournament. Endicott would also defeat the defending national champs during Keil’s time there.

Keil received his Bachelor of Science from Springfield College in 2005 and later achieved his Masters from Endicott in 2012.
