Louth Finishes Tied for 5th Among Individuals; Men's Golf Wraps Up 13th Place at LMU State Farm Invitational

PINEVILLE, K.Y. - Pfeiffer University finished the 2012 Lincoln Memorial State Farm Invitational in 13th Place played Monday and Tuesday at the Wasioto Winds Golf Course. King won the overall team title by two shots over the host Railsplitters.
The Falcons improved a season-best 19 shots from round one to round two led by Tyson Louth's final round two-under 70. Louth posted a first round 76 to finish tied for fifth individually. All players would improve from day one to two followed by Ryan Franklin concluding with an 80 and 76. Alex Valls posted an 81/76 while freshman Austin Kiker went 83/76. JD Lamm would round out team scoring for the tournament carding 80/79.
Jamie Chapman on Lincoln Memorial posted a final round 66 to finish five-under par for the tournament claiming individual medalist honors. Pfeiffer will now move on to face Brevard in a head-to-head matchup on Saturday in Greensboro.
