Daly's 18-Point Week Lands Player of the Week Honors for Women's Lacrosse

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Sarah Daly has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week during week three of the 2012–2013 Lacrosse season. Daly (New Market, MD) put together a career week with 10 goals and eight assists registering 18 points in a perfect 3-0 week for the Lady Falcons.
Starting with a neutral site contest against #15 Florida Southern, Daly scored four times while assisted on two other with a pair of groundballs in an 11-6 victory over the Mocs. In the first true home game of the season on Saturday vs. St. Leo, Daly again found the back of the net four times, this time adding three assists, leading Pfeiffer to a 19-4 win with a caused turnover in a seven-point afternoon. Wrapping up on Sunday against Southern New Hampshire, Daly concluded her week with a two-goal, three-assist outing as the Lady Falcons rolled the Penmen 19-3. For the week, Daly had her 10 goals with a 77% shot on goal percentage, adding eight assists, three groundballs and caused turnovers.
Daly and the Lady Falcons will host #2 LeMoyne on Wednesday before traveling to Erskine for Conference Carolinas action on Saturday.
