#14 Women's Lacrosse Pours in 15 First Half Goals En Route to 20-1 League Win at Erskine

DUE WEST, S.C. - Powered by 15 first half goals, Pfeiffer University was able to roll past host Erskine 20-1 in Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Falcons, ranked #14 in the latest IWLCA poll, improve their school-record start to 7-0 overall, now 2-0 in league play. The Fleet drop to 3-6, 0-5 after the loss.
Sarah Daly, Kristi Korn and Ashleigh Kassab would all record hat tricks in the win as the Lady Falcons saw 12 different players register at-least one goal on Saturday. Kristina Anderson and Carly Garrison would each pick up three assists while Daly had two. Britton Muir scooped up a game-high seven groundballs and three caused turnovers in the win while Katherine Athens had a game-high five draw controls. Starting goalkeeper Cassidy Wilson picked up the win stopping three Flying Fleet shots in the first half while Rachel McCarthy turned away six in the second half.
Pfeifer would out-shoot Erskine 35-10 in the match and lead with 23 groundballs to the Fleet's 18. Erskine's lone goal would come at the 21:00 mark of the second half as Von McKenzie tallied from Kelly Dalziel.
