Tilmon Named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week after 10-Point Week for #10 Men's Lacrosse

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Steven Tilmon has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week during week six of the 2012–2013 Lacrosse season. Tilmon (Orlando, FL) put up a 10-point week with five goals and five assists as the 10th-ranked Falcons pushed their win streak to five with a pair of wins inside Conference Carolinas play.
Tilmon started his week by registering a hat trick at Queens on Wednesday night. Tilmon would tally the first goal of the game while netting the equalizer for a 3-3 game in the second and putting Pfeiffer up 5-4 early in the third. Against Coker, Tilmon would follow up Queens by scoring two while assisting on four. Both goals came back-to-back as insurance to end the second and start the third while recording a pair of assists in each half. Tilmon also added five groundballs and a caused turnover to go along with his five goals and five assists.
Tilmon and the Falcons will head to Belmont Abbey on Wednesday in their only game of the upcoming week.
