HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Ashleigh Kassab has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week during week seven of the 2012–2013 Lacrosse season. In their only match of the week, sixth-ranked Pfeiffer University remained unbeaten at 12-0 in 2013 thanks to an 18-4 victory over Belmont Abbey led by Kassab's six goals and two assists.

Kassab tallied her first of the day just 29 seconds in on Wednesday before scoring back-to-back goals 95 seconds apart later in the half. Kassab would pick up two more to finish with four in the first half, three in the midst of a 12-0 run for the Lady Falcons. Kassab would end the day with her final goal at the 1:56 mark of the second. In addition to her eight-point afternoon, Kassab controlled two draws and was a perfect 6-for-6 with all shots finding the back of the net.
