Savannah, GA---The Pfeiffer men's tennis team traveled to Savannah, GA for the ITA Regional this past weekend. The tournament had ten teams in it that were nationally ranked at the end of last season.

While the Falcons did not win any flight they proved they could play with anyone in the region.

Johan de Wit pushed the #3 seed Paul Bishop, who was ranked #24 in the nation last season, but fell 6-3,6-3.

AJ Flores lost to a seed in the first round then won two matches in the backdraw.

Ryan Kerr and Frank Pouchet played the #3 seed in doubles and lost 8-3 and had deuce in three more games.

Coach Potter said, "We played a lot better this weekend. Armstrong Atlantic was #4 in the nation last season and we played them tough in several matches. I was pleased with our conditioning. The hard work is slowly paying off. We now have three weeks before our next tournament to work on some things to get better."
