 Spartanburg, SC---The Pfeiffer women's cross country team ran a great race and placed third at the 2007 Conference Carolinas Championship on Saturday. Three runners, Samantha and Stephanie Rynas, and Melissa Dunlap, had their career best times today in the race today.
Coach Nolt said, "I am extemely proud of the girls effort today. We knew we stood a chance of challenging for the top 3 or 4 teams in the conference if we ran our best. Melissa, Meghan, Latrese, Samantha, Stephanie, Magen and Ellen have all worked hard all year and I am happy that we were able to leave Spartanburg today as the third place team in the Conference. Now we start looking forward to Regionals in two weeks." The Regionals will take place at Wingate Univesity on Saturday, November 3rd.
