Pfeiffer's Women's Cross Country team competed in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Meet in Wingate NC. Pfeiffer finished 10th in the field.

Seniors Melissa Dunlap and Meghan Hillebrand led Pfeiffer. Dunlap was an All-Region selection and finished 12th overall, and Hillebrand finished 18th. "Melissa and Meghan have been running great races all year. Melissa had another good outing today and Meghan had one of the best races of her college career," remarked Coach Nolt. The Women's team finished 13th a year ago on the same course. Conference Carolina's opponent Lees-McRae won the race.

Coach Nolt said, ""I felt really good after the race. We were ranked fifth in the region coming into the race, and I knew that it would be tough to hold that. In the last two years the girls have made remarkable strides forward and although we hoped to finish a little higher in the region, I am really happy about this season and excited about the direction that we are going."
