Falcons Finish 9th at Regionals

Pfeiffer's Mens Cross Country team today finished 9th in the Southwest Regional held in Wingate, NC. The finish matches the 9th place ranking that the Falcons had for much of the season. Leading the Falcon's was Junior Matt Tyndall who ran one of his best 10K times ever with a 34:09, finishing just outside of the All-Region Team. Senior Brandon Whittaker finished next for the Falcons with a 35:33. Pfeiffer was the fifth ranked Carolinas Conference team, the same as their finish in the Confernece Meet. The Falcon's finished 13th in last year's regional race. Coach Nolt said, ""Matt had a tremendous race today, and I really appreciate the effort from our seniors Brandon, Jarred, and Tyler. We came in hoping to at least match our regional ranking and improve on our finish from last year. Next year we will look to continue to improve and move up."
