FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECharlotte, NC – The Pfeiffer men’s tennis team fell to the Charlotte 49ers on Monday afternoon in a non-conference match-up 6-1. Even though the Falcons brought home only one singles win, the play was much closer than the scores communicated. One doubles set was lost in the tie breaker and the Falcons forced two singles matches to three sets.

Leading the Falcons was Sid Kaushik (India) who brought home the only win of the day in the second singles position 4-6, 6-2, 10-5. Kaushik also played with AJ Flores (Atlanta, GA) in second doubles to take their 8-7 match to the tie breaker, which unfortunately resulted in a loss for the Falcons.
