Brianna Shurtleff and Devin Millhorn began the home half with a pair of walks, both scoring on the same play thanks to a Pfeiffer error at first. St. Andrews made it a two-run game in the fourth as Shurtleff scored Danyell Marquez with a double to the gap in left-center.

Pfeiffer opened the first game up with a four-run fifth as Wagner picked up another RBI with a single through the left side. Pfeiffer provided the offense with a three-run first inning beginning with Waylock’s RBI fielder’s choice. Kirsten Patterson brought in Johnson with an infield single to third before Waylock plated on a passed ball.

Patterson registered another RBI with a single in the third in front of a five-run fourth to blow it open. Sam Taylor picked up a pair of RBI with a double to left, while Johnson, Chalk and Patterson each secured runs batted in during the frame. St. Andrews tallied their lone run in the fourth with a Nicole Bailey run-scoring groundout, but ran out of time in the fifth due to the eight-run rule.
