The Braves outshot Pfeiffer 25-15, but none of the 40 combined shots would find the back of the net. The Falcons remain winless on the year now 0-2-1 while the Braves move to 1-2-1.

UNCP put eight shots up to Pfeifferís two in the first half as Alex Moreno (Huntersville, NC) would make a match-high eight saves on the night. Tesh, along with Fahret Salihovic (Charlotte, NC), Dany Bardizbanian (Milledgeville, GA) and Nick Brindley (Northamptonshire, ENGLAND) would each have shots blocked by the Braves defense early in the second extra session before UNCPís Andrew Brown took the gameís final shot sailing above Moreno for the 0-0 tie.
