MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer (N.C.) has led division two in scoring the last two seasons, including 103.1 ppg last year in an 18-10 season. The Falcons take that big time offense to North Carolina State in a season opening exhibition game. The team lost 128-70 to Duke in an exhibition game last season. Woods averaged 22.4 points and 7.3 rebounds and shot 60% from the floor. Pettiway scored 18.3 ppg and added 3.5 apg. Other top returning scorers are Davon Gilliard (10.6) and Reggie Hollinger (9.2).
“Basketball Times is one of the most reputable media outlets that covers college basketball,” said Falcon head coach Jeremy Currier. “I have been pleased with the work that our players have done this preseason as the beginning of our season approaches. The Conference Carolinas league will be extremely competitive this season, and we are excited about taking on those challenges every night. We are honored that Chuck and everyone at the Basketball Times would cover Pfeiffer Basketball.”
