PENDLETON, S.C. – Pfeiffer freshman Angela Gimenez fired a one-over 73 in the final round of the Boscobel Intercollegiate, leading the Lady Falcons to a fourth place team finish at the par 72, 5,989-yard Boscobel Golf Course. Pfeiffer finished second amongst division two teams playing in a primarily division one event.
Gimenez bounced back with her 73 after a round of 82 on Saturday to lead the way with a 155. Steph Peareth, who shared the overall lead after round one with a 74, finished one shot back of Gimenez.
Jackie McMenimon put up rounds of 78 and 82 to finish tied for 16th while Chelsea Demers and Kelly Hill rounded out the remaining team scores. Demers posted 82, 84 while Hill wrapped up with an 84 and 85. Playing as an individual, Lauren Lyle started strong with a 78, but concluded with a 92.
One final event remains for the Lady Falcons in the fall portion of their schedule on Monday and Tuesday, October 19th and 20th hosted by Catawba. Pfeiffer will take part in the Patsy Rendleman Invitational at the Salisbury Country Club.
