A dunk from David Short (Darlington, SC) put the visitors up seven, 38-31, with 1:44 remaining until the Falcons used an 8-0 run with another long range shot from Yamaguchi and the triple by Gillis to turn a seven-point deficit into a one-point halftime lead.
Thompson got the Cobras back to within one with a jumper 91 seconds into the second half, but another 13-2 run sent the Falcons back on top by double figures. Humphrey and Pettiway each had three-pointers in that stretch while Woods added four in front of a Davon Gilliard (Charleston, SC) dunk. Before the final 1:11, Thompson again carried the Cobras to a 65-63 game while Liam Kyle (Cleveland, OH) knocked down four-straight late free throws, but Woods would carry the Falcons down the stretch for the 80-75 victory.
