WOMEN'S TENNIS CLAWS BACK TO SWEEP SINGLES IN 7-2 LEAGUE WIN OVER CONVERSE

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – After dropping two of the three decisions in doubles play, The Pfeiffer University women’s tennis team clawed back to sweep all six singles match en route to a 7-2 win over Converse in Conference Carolinas women’s tennis action Tuesday at the Knapp Tennis Center. The win moves the Lady Falcons to 3-4 on the year, 1-0 in league play, while the Valkyries even to 4-4, 2-3.

The Pfeiffer duo of Catie Thomas and Kayleigh Featherstone were the only ones able to secure a point in the first half of play with an 8-2 win at #3 doubles. In singles, not one Lady Falcon dropped a single set rolling to the five-point win.

Pfeiffer will head to Meredith on Thursday for the next match beginning at 3:00 p.m.
