MEN'S GOLF FINISHES SECOND AT LMU INVITATIONAL; BULMER FINISHES SECOND AS INDIVIDUAL

PIKEVILLE, K.Y. - Fellow Conference Carolinas member King shot five strokes better than Pfeiffer University in Tuesday's final round to edge out the Falcons for the team title at the 2011 LMU Fall Invitational. Troy Bulmer, playing as an individual, finished second overall with a one-under 71 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at five-under par 139.

Thomas Sennett was the only Falcon to improve on his first round score with a 72 on Tuesday, six strokes better than his Monday total. Tyson Louth paced the Falcons overall with a 144 (70/74) while Luiz Jacintho went 71/76 for a 147. Michael Blair concluding one shot back of Jacintho with 73/75 while Sennett, along with Alejandro Valls finished at 150.

Pfeiffer will now enjoy the rest of the fall season out of tournament play before resuming competitive action in the spring of 2012.
