HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Tucker Hammock has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week during week number six of the 2012 season. Hammock helped the Falcons to a pair of wins this week over Wingate and league-rival Queens with six goals and five assists for an 11-point week.
In a 14-3 win over Wingate, the sophomore from Marietta, GA put home four goals with three assists in a seven-point effort. Hammock also added three groundballs and a caused turnover in the region win. During a 13-10 victory snapping a three-game skid over Queens, Hammock added two more goals with two more assists and three groundballs. Hammock finished the week with his 11 points as the Falcons stand 8-3 overall, 2-0 in league play, and get set to host Belmont Abbey and Lees-McRae later this week.
