BANNER ELK, N.C. - Host Lees-McRae College shot 49% from the field, hitting on a dozen three-pointers, rolling to an 83-60 victory over Pfeiffer University in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. The win sends the Bobcats to 2-17 overall, 2-11 in league play, while the Falcons fall to 3-16, 1-11.
Asad Lamot would lead Lees-McRae with 14 points off the bench as one of five players in double-digit scoring. The Bobcats would dominate the rebounds 44-25 and dish out 21 assists. Tayron Gibson led the Falcons with 13 off the bench in a losing effort.
