TIGERVILLE, S.C. - AJ Clark's career-high 22 points wasn't enough as North Greenville claimed a 104-82 victory over Pfeiffer University in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action on Thursday night. The Crusaders improve to 8-10 overall, 5-9 in league play while the Falcons, who surrendered a season-high 104, fall to 3-18, 1-13.
North Greenville shot 59% in the victory putting five players in double-figures led by Tyshawn Patterson's 27 points. Keith Johnson would follow scoring 23. The Crusaders shot 61% in their 56-point second half to pull away. North Greenvile would score 21 points off Pfeiffer turnovers, score 20 fast break points and double up the Falcons in bench scoring 30-15.
Clark dropped 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting for the Falcons while hitting 6-of-7 free throws. Tayron Gibson would follow with 21 on 8-of-11 shooting with six rebounds. David McNair concluded with 16 on 60% shooting.
