MEN'S BASKETBALL STUMBLES IN 84-58 LOSS AT ERSKINE

DUE WEST, S.C. - Host Erskine College shot 50% from the field and turned 20 Pfeiffer University turnovers into 28 points claiming an 84-58 victory in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. The win sends the Flying Fleet to 13-7 overall, 8-7 in league play while the Falcons fall to 3-19, 1-14 being officially eliminated from postseason contention.

Roderick Perkins led all scorers with 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. DeShaun Hall followed with 15 while Corey Sorrell dropped in 14. Erskine would shoot 55% in the second-half leading to their 50% for the day. Josh Humphrey led the Falcons with 16 points and nine rebounds as one of three in double-figures.
