SWEEP OF DOUBLES LEADS MEN'S TENNIS TO 7-2 LEAGUE WIN OVER LEES-MCRAE

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer University got back on track Friday afternoon scoring a 7-2 win over Lees-McRae in Conference Carolnas men's tennis action at the Knapp Tennis Center. The Falcons advance to 9-5 overall, 4-3 in league play while keeping the Bobcats winless at 0-8, 0-4.

Pfeiffer swept all three doubles matches beginning with Sebastian Wernecke/Ethan Lyon's 8-0 victory at number three. Loic Minery/Ben Hunter would roll 8-2 at number one while Orlando Castillo/Luis Villalta doubled up at number two 8-4.

In singles, Minery would register a 6-0, 6-2 win in the top spot while Villalta cruised in straight-sets 6-3, 6-4. Bret Williams and Stephen Miller would pick up the final points at number five and six as neither dropped a single game coasting 6-0, 6-0.
