Pfeiffer University’s Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Lars Keil, has resigned from his position at the university. Keil states, “I want to thank Bob Reasso and the administrative staff for the opportunity to work with such a distinguished program, but effective May 31st I will be stepping down as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in order to pursue other professional opportunities." Keil will leave the Falcons with a record of 13-4 (5-1 CC).
The administrative staff has been supportive of Keil’s decision to pursue further opportunities. “Lars was a dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic coach during his tenure at Pfeiffer and we wish him the best in his future endeavors in the lacrosse community,” Associate Athletic Director Allen Snook states.
When asked about Keil’s decision, Athletic Director Bob Reasso said, “We wish Lars all the best in his future endeavors. At this time, we will begin a nationwide search for an individual to fill the head coach position for our men’s lacrosse program.” Falcons assistant coach Brad Conlon will serve as interim head coach during this process.
