Misenheimer, NC---The Pfeiffer baseball team won their weekend series against Coker wih a 9-3 victory on Sunday afternoon. The teams had split a double-header on Saturday. Will Davis hit a three-run home run in the first and the Falcons never looked back.

With two outs in the bottom of the first Bryan Braxton singled. Shawn Coke followed with a double. Will Davis then stepped up and drilled a three-run home un to give Pfeiffer a 3-0 lead.

Pfeiffer got three more runs in the second to build a 6-0 lead. RBI's by Ryan Brown, Zack Pou and Bryan Braxton put the Falcons in command.

This was more then enough for Falcon starter Nick Fogleman who got the win giving upo only one earned run in five innings. Andrew Oliver and Adam Sedberry came out of the Falcon bullpen and gave up one run in four innings of work.

Pfeiffer got single runs in the fifth, seventh and eighth and won the game 9-3.

Pfeiffer will host UNC-Pembroke at 2:30 pm on Tuesday and host Carson-Newman in a double-header Wednesday starting at 1:00 pm.
