| DAHLONEGA, GA – The 20th-ranked North Georgia College & State University Saints salvaged the final game of a three game series 14-4 against Pfeiffer University Sunday afternoon in non-conference baseball action. The Saints took the lead in the opening inning with run scoring doubles of the bats of Josh Tate and Kevin Morrison to help put a three spot on the board in the first frame. North Georgia used a six-run fourth and three-run seventh to pull away for the victory. Kevin Oquendo had a day for the Falcons, going 3-4 with two runs batted in and a run scored. The loss drops Pfeiffer to 5-2 on the year as they have yet to drop a series. Peiffer will travel to Francis Marion Tuesday for a single game at 3:00 pm. |
