|Falcons Fall to #2 Bentley|

|Shepherdstown, West Virginia---The Pfeiffer men's basketball team opened their season, Friday night, with a 93-83 loss to nationally ranked #2 Benley College in the first day of the Clarion Tip-Off Classic. The Falcons will take on host Shepherd College Saturday evening at 6:00 pm. |
The Falcons played the #2 team in the country Friday night. It was a three-point game at halftime with the Falcons down 41-38 at the break.
It was a tie game six minutes into the second half before the Bentley went on a 10 -0 run and kept it around 10 the rest of the way.
Pfeiffer fought hard but couldn't pull it out in the and ended up losing 93-83.
Pfeiffer was led by Robert McGriff's 19 points and five rebounds. Logan Call added 15 points and six rebounds and Chris Woods added 10 points.
Coach Davis added, "We played some excellent competition and found out we have a great deal of work to do," said Pfeiffer coach Dave Davis. "We have great kids and they are learning to work hard and play Pfeiffer basketball. We will improve."
