Locklear’s three-run home run, as well as a costly throwing error, allowed the Braves to cushion their advantage out to 8-3 in the seventh, with Bentley’s solo blast in the eighth providing the final margin.
Pfeiffer got a 3-for-4 outing from Zack Pou, with Kyle McGarity driving in a pair of runs on a 1-for-3 hitting line.
Amidst a bouquet of Falcon pitchers, Ethan Marsh took the loss for the visitors after allowing Funk’s two-run triple and surrendering the lead in the sixth.
