Falcons Fall To Eagles

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles defeated Pfeiffer, 85-68, Saturday evening in non-conference women's basketball action. Pfeiffer is now 4-5 on the season while the Eagles improve to 5-5.

Pfeiffer fell behind by 18 at halftime, 47-29.

Pfeiffer got to within 13 points before the Lady Eagles pulled away in the final three minutes.

Kendra Rutledge had 14 points and 5 assists to lead the Falcons. Four other falcons had nine points each. The Falcons forced 37 turnovers but the Eagles shot 60% from the floor.

Pfeiffer is off until Saturday, January 5th, when they host Converse at 2:00 pm.
