Megan Blevins was responsible for the second goal which was assisted by Tiffany Caudle. In the final minute of the first half freshman Amanda Tinker was able to revive the Fleet hope as she buried a shot from the left wing, the goal was assisted by Kendal Shaffer. Pfeiffer led 2-1 at the half. During the second half the Fleet were able to hold off Pfeiffer's aggressive offense and managed to put another one in the back of the net to even the score. The first overtime was fruitless as neither team was able to end the match. The second 10 minute overtime was when Pfeiffr won the game.
