Pfeiffer Wins First Round Game

spiotta.jpgMisenheimer, NC---The Pfeiffer volleyball team swept Barton in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. The Falcons won three straight games by the sores of 30-23,30-16 and 30-16. Pfeiffer improves to 20-12 overall and Barton finishes the year at 4-31.

The Falcons were led by Lauren Spiotta who had 13 kills and 4 blocks. Lauren Elmore had 11 kills and Brittany Dickens added 10 kills and 3 blocks. Morgan Liebert led with 36 assists and 10 digs.

Barton was led by Michelle Walker who had 10 kills and 8 digs. Macon Harmon added 19 assists.

Pfeiffer will play at Coker on Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Conference Quarter-finals.
