Pfeiffer Sports Network Moves to YouTube

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Starting this weekend, the Pfeiffer Sports Network will have a new home. The Falcons athletic events will be streamed and archived on Pfeiffer Athletics' YouTube page going forward.

For the past four years, UStream was the home of Pfeiffer's live streamed athletic events per an agreement with Conference Carolinas. However, with the switch to the USA South Athletic Conference, Pfeiffer joined a growing list of departments that make YouTube its home.

Pfeiffer will continue to stream all home contests. The Pfeiffer Sports Network is home to men's/women's soccer, volleyball, men's/women's basketball, men's/women's lacrosse, baseball, and softball. Play-by-play commentator Kendall Lewis will call the action for his fifth season as one of the best young announcers in the area.

The opening broadcast will take place on Saturday when the volleyball squad hosts the Falcon Classic to open their season. With three volleyball matches streamed over the weekend, and a pair of soccer contests early next week, the Pfeiffer Sports Network will be your home for Pfeiffer's historic inaugural season in Division III.

The majority of the broadcasts this year will feature post-game interviews with student-athletes and coaches to give viewers more in-depth coverage. All games will be archived on Pfeiffer's YouTube channel so viewers will have the opportunity to re-watch broadcasts and those games will be stored forever, creating a digital public archive.

Visit Pfeiffer's YouTube page here and subscribe to the channel for alerts and reminders on live broadcasts.
