On a list that includes Vince Lombardi, Bob Hurley Sr., Bill Parcells and Tom Coughlin, Bob Reasso was ranked as one of New Jersey's 50 greatest all-time coaches by nj.com yesterday.
The ground rules for being selected were: grew up in the state, coached a team in the state and made a broad impact in their sport. Reasso, who is in his fifth year as the Vice President for Athletics at Pfeiffer, coached at Rutgers for 29 years and won 351 career games with 13 NCAA Tournament appearances. He led the Scarlet Knights to three Final Fours, six league titles and a National Championship appearance in 1990. In 1990, Reasso was named the National Coach of the Year.
