Sports Chaplains

The Sports Chaplain position allows you to develop your skills through peer leadership. Being a part of the Chaplaincy Staff is both an opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience and skills, as well as a chance to make a difference in the lives of your fellow students. The Sports Chaplain position is a chance to help not only make an impact with specific athletic teams, but to make a greater impact on the campus community as a whole for the Kingdom of Heaven. The Sports Chaplain position will help to encourage and build up your faith as you strengthen the faith of those around you. The things you learn as a Sports Chaplain will also help you develop traits that will benefit you in years to come.Ultimately, Sports Chaplains must continue to demonstrate a passion for Christ, maturity, time management, responsibility, self-discipline and a commitment to building a Christ centered community.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Col. 3:23)
