RALEIGH, N.C. – The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (6-3) had little trouble dispatching William Peace (3-7) as the Falcons came away with a 20-7 victory on Wednesday evening. Five different players netted a hat trick for the Falcons who entered as one of the most efficient offenses in the nation and posted their third 20-goal output of the season.
It was a chilly afternoon in the village of Misenheimer on Wednesday, but that didn’t stop the Pfeiffer baseball team (14-7) from scoring nine runs en route to a 9-6 victory over Queens University (15-5). Leading the charge was Kirby Lambert, who crushed his 9th homerun of the season to drive in three of his four runs on the day to anchor the Falcon offense.
MONROE, N.C. -- Competing against a Division II field, the Pfeiffer women's golf team finished 11th at the Wingate Challenge hosted by Wingate University. The Falcons shot 700 as a team and were once again led by senior Meghan Holbrooks.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer baseball team (13-7) handed Methodist (20-3) just its third loss of the season with a 6-5 victory on Sunday afternoon, salvaging the final game of the three-game weekend series. Will Altemueller tossed six solid innings and Xavier Rodriguez retired all six batters he faced to earn the save.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- For the second time this season, the Pfeiffer softball team (20-2) swept Salem, winning by scores of 10-2 and 8-0 on Saturday afternoon at Jack Ingram Field. The Falcons winning streak extended to nine in the sweep.
Misenheimer, NC - The Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team (8-1) put on a dominating display against Ferrum College (3-6) on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Panthers 18-4. The Falcons were led by Molly O'Friel and Meagan Bourque. O'Friel had six goals on the afternoon and Bourque tallied four goals.
Raleigh, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer men’s tennis team took home two wins on Saturday, defeating Shaw 6-3 and William Peace 7-2. The team improves to 9-2 on the year with the victory.

The Falcons defeated the Bears 6-3 in the morning match. Bjorn Barwinski won the first singles match for Pfeiffer, defeating Ngonidzashe Makambwa 6-4, 6-2. Senior Eduan Louw defeated Destiny Udofe in three sets 6-3, 5-7, and 6-0.
Raul Ruiz and Ethan Elliott also came out victorious, with Ruiz winning 6-0, 6-0, and Elliott winning in three sets 5-7, 6-0, and 6-3.
In doubles play, Thomas Hubble and Raul Ruiz defeated Oscar Del Grando and Makambwa 8-1, while Barwinski and David Weir won their match against Udofe and Daniel AC 8-2. In the final doubles match, Eduan Louw and Trey Speight defeated Junior Davis-Bablola and Enrico Baldon 8-5.

In their match against the Pacers, Pfeiffer took home a solid 7-2 win in their afternoon match. David Weir came home with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Patrick Ralph. Eduan Louw took home another win on the day, defeating Davis Felts 6-0, 6-0. Raul Ruiz, Ethan Elliott, and Trey Speight also took home victories in singles play.
In doubles competition, Thomas Hubble and Ruiz took home a win over Dylan Betancourt and Patrick Ralph 8-2. The team of Bjorn Barwinski and David Weir won the final match for the Falcons by defeating David Felts and Daniel Carter 8-1.
Pfeiffer will look for win number 10 on the season Wednesday as they face off against Ferrum at home. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Fayetteville, N.C. – It was another tough loss for the Pfeiffer baseball team on Saturday afternoon as they fell in game two to Methodist 9-6. The Falcon pitching staff struggled throughout, giving up 11 hits and walking 9 Monarch hitters.
The Pfeiffer baseball team took a tough loss to Methodist by a score of 7-5 on Friday night. The Monarchs came in to this series as the number eight ranked team in the country in Division III baseball.

LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Vada Blue Sherrill earned her second NFCA National Player of the Week award the league announced this afternoon. Sherrill had previously won the National Player of the Week on Feb. 27.
DANBURY, CONN. – Pfeiffer senior midfielder Molly O’Friel has been named the ECAC South Player of the Week the league announced this afternoon. O’Friel wins the award after an outstanding three-game week last week.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Vada Blue Sherrill was named the ECAC South Player of the Week for the week of March 5-11, the league announced this afternoon. This was the first week of the Spring Player of the Week honors for the ECAC.
LAGRANGE, GA. -- LaGrange had no answer for Molly O'Friel as the Falcons (6-1) ran past the Panthers (3-5) on Sunday afternoon. O'Friel finished the game with eight goals and five assists for 13 points, which tied the third most points in a single game in program history and is a career high for the senior.
Montgomery, AL -- It was a dominating performance for the Pfeiffer women’s lacrosse team on Saturday as they defeated Huntingdon 20-1. The 20 point outburst is the highest of the season, beating their 19 point performance in their first game of the season against Greensboro.
Danville, V.A. -- The Pfeiffer baseball team split a double header on Saturday afternoon against Averett, taking game one 7-4 and losing game two 2-0. Despite the loss in game two, the Falcons won the series two games to one as they took Friday night's matchup buy a score of 8-2.

DEMOREST, GA. – The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (4-3) moved a game over .500 with a 10-8 road victory at Piedmont (4-4) on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons never trailed in the contest and got four goals from senior Blade Garlow in the win.
Misenheimer, N.C. – The Pfeiffer men’s tennis team took a home loss to N.C. Wesleyan 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. It was just the second loss of the season for the team, and their first since the fall against Catawba.
