  • Falcons Celebrate Senior Day with 4-0 Victory over Huntingdon

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- It was a senior day to remember as the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team earned a 4-0 victory over Huntingdon. In Pfeiffer’s final home game of the 2017 season, the Falcons capped off a great weekend with their second shutout in as many days. It was Pfeiffer’s eighth win of the year, improving their record to 8-6-1.
  • Falcons Drop A Pair of Matches At Ferrum; Lose 3-1 To The Panthers

    Though Pfeiffer (2-19) dropped both of their matches on Saturday afternoon to William Peace (15-16) and to the host school, Ferrum (5-20), the Falcons made it interesting in the second match of the day against the Panthers as they took the third set of the match 25-23. Erin Errington had three of her nine kills in set three and Katie Anne Wilson had seven of her team-high 19 assists.

    ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer women’s soccer team (8-8) wrapped up its historic first season as a member of NCAA Division III and the USA South Athletic Conference with a tough 2-0 loss at N.C. Wesleyan (4-10-1) on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons wrapped up the inaugural Division III season with a .500 record and will set their sights on a strong 2018 campaign.

    DANVILLE, VA. -- The Pfeiffer men's soccer team (6-6-1) scored twice in the first 9:20 en route to a 2-1 victory at Averett (4-9-2) on Wednesday evening. Jamie Henriquez scored first and Chris Brown netted the game-winner as Pfeiffer improves to 5-2-1 over their past eight matches.
  • Women's Soccer Suffers 2-1 Loss at Meredith

    RALEIGH, N.C. - For the second time this season, the Pfeiffer women's soccer team (8-7) suffered a one-goal defeat at the hands of Meredith (11-4). After falling 1-0 to the Avenging Angels in early September, Pfeiffer was on the wrong end of a 2-1 score on Wednesday evening.

    It took just three sets for the Methodist Monarchs (13-10) to defeat the Pfeiffer Falcons (2-17) on Wednesday night, 3-0. Offensively, Erin Errington led all Falcon players with eight kills.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with the Edwards family as former Falcon Dalton Edwards passed away yesterday morning at the age of 20. Dalton had battled cancer numerous times and was a courageous young man.

  • Men's Soccer Suffers a 2-1 Defeat on Saturday Afternoon

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer men's soccer team (4-6-1) suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of N.C. Wesleyan (9-5) on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon at N.E. Lefko Field. Pfeiffer put together a strong second half and nearly completed the comeback but couldn't prevent the Battling Bishops from winning their eighth straight.
  • Falcons Split Two On Saturday; Pick Up Their Second Win Of The Year

    Bri Weber and Erin Errington propelled the Pfeiffer Falcons (2-15) women’s volleyball team to their second win of the season as they cruised past the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels (0-24) in three sets in the first half of Saturday’s quad match. Weber and Errington led the Falcons in match one with nine kills apiece as both players hit an outstanding .500 and .368 respectively.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon, the Pfeiffer women's soccer team (8-6) dropped a tough 1-0 decision at home against Greensboro (14-2) in the final home match of the season. Greensboro owns the best overall winning percentage in the USA South an ran their winning streak to four straight. 
  • Spencer's Standout Performance Leads the Falcons at Queen City Invitational

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Competing against a field of Division I and II competition, Kylie Spencer posted one of the most impressive times of her career and in program history. The senior posted what is believed to be the best time by a female runner in Pfeiffer cross country history, crossing the finish line in a time of 18:33 and in front of many Division I runners at the Queen City Invitational.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- A late goal by each team sent tonight's men's soccer match to a 1-1 draw between Pfeiffer (4-5-1) and Shaw (4-5-2) at N.E. Lefko Field in the first of three straight home matches for the Falcons.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer women’s soccer team (8-5) continued its hot play with a 3-1 road win at Methodist (4-8) on Wednesday night. The win is Pfeiffer’s seventh in their last nine matches and the 240th victory in program history.
  • Women's Golf Competes at Patsy Rendleman Inviational

    SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a 17th place finish at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational hosted by Catawba on Monday and Tuesday. The Falcons team score of 722 left them in the back of the pack as Lenoir-Rhyne took home the top spot. 
  • Women's Volleyball Falls to Meredith In Straight Sets

    The Pfeiffer Falcons (1-15) struggled as they fell in straight sets to the Meredith Avenging Angels (10-9) on Wednesday night. Erin Errington led all players with a match-high eight kills but the Falcons as a team were out-hit .434 to -.141.

  • Pfeiffer Falls to Rival Queens on Monday Night

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- In a matchup of former conference rivals, the Pfeiffer women’s soccer team (7-5) dropped a 3-0 decision at Queens (8-2-1) on Monday evening. Tonight marked the 26th meeting between the two programs since 1998 and was the Royals first head-to-head victory over the Falcons since a 3-1 win in 2011. Pfeiffer had been 4-0-1 against Queens since 2011 and the Falcons own a 10-9-8 record in the ultra-competitive rivalry.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- All four seniors scored on Senior Day as the Pfeiffer women’s soccer team (7-4) dominated William Peace (1-8) by a final score of 8-0 on Saturday afternoon at N.E. Lefko Field. The Falcons erupted for six second half goals to blow away the visiting Pacers.

With the loss, the Falcons drop a game under .500 on the season, while Greensboro improves to 8-4.

    LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Caleb Bratager's golden goal in the 105th minute sent the Pfeiffer men's soccer team (4-4) to its third straight victory, a 2-1 triumph in double overtime over Covenant (3-7-1) on Saturday afternoon. The goal was Bratager's fifth of the season and his first career game-winner. Bratager has netted at least one goal in four straight matches.
  • Kelley's Three Assists Lead Pfeiffer to Fifth Straight Win

    FERRUM, Va. — Thanks to three first half goals, all of corner kicks by Kat Kelley, the Pfeiffer women’s soccer team (6-3) extended its win streak to five in a row with a 3-0 victory over Ferrum (5-5) on Saturday afternoon. Maddie Capel, Cayci Eaton and Tori Jackson all scored with Kelley getting three assists and finished one shy of tying the single game record of four set by Megan Blevins in 2008.
  • Men's and Women's Teams Finish 3rd Overall at Maryville Invitational

    The Pfeiffer Cross Country teams competed at the Maryville College Invitational hosted by Maryville College on Friday Saturday. The women placed three runners in the top 11 en route to a third-place team finish, while the men also placed third on the day.
