September 28, 2016|News Men's Soccer Drops Overtime Thriller at No. 18 Tusculum GREENVILLE, TN - In a battle of top-20 teams, No. 18 Tusculum (8-0) shocked No. 6 Pfeiffer (6-2) with a dramatic come-from-behind victory, stealing a 3-2 result in overtime on Wednesday evening. Tusculum tied the contest with 59 seconds left in regulation and netted the game-winner 1:40 into overtime. The win was Tusculum’s third overtime victory on the season and just the Falcons second loss since Nov. 2014.
September 28, 2016|News Pfeiffer Falls to Non-Conference Rival Catawba Senior Olivia Nelms continued her winning ways on Wednesday as she won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3 over Erisa Onchi of Catawba in singles on but the the Pfeiffer Falcons (0-1) women’s tennis team dropped the close contest by the score of 5-4 to the Indians (1-0).
September 27, 2016|News Three Falcons Finish in Top 5 as Pfeiffer Wins First Tournament Since 2010-11 Season BRISTOL, TN- The Pfeiffer men’s golf team won its first tournament since the 2010-2011 season. The Falcons finished in first place at the King University Tournament in dominating fashion, winning by 13 shots. Pfeiffer finished with a team score of 554. Senior Nathan Bull led the way winning his first career tournament finishing with a four under par two day total of 135.
September 27, 2016|News Pfeiffer Downed By Catawba 3-0 SALISBURY, NC- The Pfeiffer women’s volleyball team (0-11) fell to Catawba (5-7) 3-0 on Tuesday night. Sydney Freeman led the Falcons with five kills, Katie Wilson added four kills, nine assists and five digs on the evening.
September 27, 2016|News Men's Soccer Ranked No. 6 In The Nation KANSAS CITY, MO. - The Pfeiffer men’s soccer team moved up one spot top No. 6 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings as announced this afternoon. The Falcons were ranked No. 7 last week and moved up after victories over Francis Marion and Southern Wesleyan last week. Pfeiffer is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation by HeroSports.
September 27, 2016|News Two Falcons Finish In Top 10 at King Invite BRISTOL, TN- The Pfeiffer women’s golf team opened up the King Invitational on Monday. After the first round the Falcons finished in a sixth place tie, shooting a team score of 339. Cristina del Diego paced the Falcons finishing the round in a fifth place tie, shooting a 77.
