Chris Vullo enters his third season as the Head Coach of the Pfeiffer softball team. In his first season, Vullo led the Falcons to a 21-win season.

Last season, Vullo coached pitcher Samantha Jarmsuch to a spot on the Second Team All-Conference and paced the team to a 7-8-1 conference record.
In 2013, Vullo’s Falcons increased their overall win total as well as well as their conference win total. Led by a pitching staff that posted a 3.20 team ERA, Vullo coached five All-Academic players, two players of the week and one All-Conference player.
Prior to coming to Pfeiffer, Vullo was the Head Coach at New England College from 2009-2012, as well as serving as the school’s Event Manager for Men’s and Women’s Hockey and was an Adjunct Professor in the Sport/Recreation Management Department. In total, Vullo improved the program’s win total in each of his three years and his hitters posted a team batting average above .300 in two of his three seasons at the helm.
Vullo also served four seasons as the head coach of Daniel Webster College.  Vullo made a tremendous impact while at Daniel Webster inheriting a 0-23 squad and turning out a program that finished with an impressive 19-16-1 in 2009, the most single season wins in program history. Daniel Webster returned to post-season play in 2009 for the first time since 2003, advancing to the double-elimination portion of the New England Collegiate Conference Playoffs.
In addition to his coaching experience at Daniel Webster Vullo has served as an assistant baseball coach at both Daniel Webster and at DII Franklin Pierce University.  Vullo is also currently coaching the 16U Lady Tigers ASA team out of Richfield, NC.
Vullo played three seasons at DI Appalachian State and played one season professionally with the Nashua Hawks of the Independent League.  Vullo earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Adult/Exercise Science from Auburn University at Montgomery and also has his Masters of Science in Sport Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and received the award for Highest Academic Achievement amongst the graduating class.
