Kirsty Montignani enters her first season at Pfeiffer University.
Montignani is a 2013 graduate of Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT where she earned a degree in Exercise Science with minors in psychology and coaching. While at Rocky Mountain, she was a four time Academic All-Conference selection and also made the First Team All-Conference each of her four seasons. Kirsty was named the Frontier Conference MVP along with earning an NAIA National Player of the Week award. During her career, Montignani broke the school record for goals in a season (21), career goals (49) and career points (114) and won the NAIA Champion of Character Award (2014) as well as being named an NAIA All-American.
Previously, she worked at Maine Maritime Academy as an Assistant Women’s Soccer coach and was a volunteer Strength and conditioning coach.
Montignani captained the Seacoast United Mariners of the semiprofessional WPSL league for two seasons. She was also a youth soccer coach for Seacoast United Blackbear while playing for the Mariners.
In 2011, she played in the top flight Scottish Women’s soccer league with the Hibernian Ladies and won the Scottish Cup and League Cup.
