This is Coach Easley’s fifth year as head women’s lacrosse coach at Pfeiffer. Two years ago, the Lady Falcons put together a 12-6 campaign, 6-1 in league play, advancing into the Conference Carolinas tournament championship as a #2 seed falling to top-seeded Limestone. Seven players for the second-consecutive season were named to all-conference teams, three were selected for the all-tournament team with one conference player of the week and two being selected as Synapse Sports national players of the week. Coach Easley also helped three become all-region players and coached one All-American. After a similiar season in 2010, Coach Easley was selected as the Conference's Coach of the Year. For the last nine-straight seasons, Pfeiffer has been named an IWLCA Honor Squad Member for having a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Recent women's lacrosse standout and graduate of Pfeiffer, Sarah Hebberd, was selected to the National SAAC Committee as Vice President. In 2009, Patty Hunter recieved the IWLCA community service award.
Easley has a long history at Pfeiffer as a player and as an assistant coach. In her first two years as an assistant coach, Easley helped lead the program to a Conference Championship in 2007 and an overall record of 23-13. Easley helped coach 10 All-Conference players, 5 All-Region players, and 5 All-Americans.
Easley was a four-year starter on Pfeiffer's women's varsity lacrosse team from 2002 to 2005 where she was a co-captain in ‘04 and ‘05. Easley's honors as a player included 1st Team CVAC All Conference 2005, 1st Team All-Region, 2nd Team Inside Lacrosse All-American 2005, as well as 1st Team womenslacrosse.com All-American 2005. She finished her career 5th all time in points (102), 3rd in goals (78) and 4th in groundballs (149) at Pfeiffer while leading the Falcon’s to back to back Conference Championships in ’04 and ’05.
Easley received a BA in Sports Management from Pfeiffer and also a minor in Business Administration in 2005. She obtained her Masters in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama in 2007. Easley spent the 2005-2006 school year teaching and coaching lacrosse at Ampleforth College in York, England
She was married in November of 2007 to Joe Easley. Joe graduated from Pfeiffer in 2005, and was a member of the basketball team for four years. The Easley family resides in Albemarle with their son Caleb who turned one in September.
