Scott Nolt

Scott Nolt enters his seventh season as Pfeiffer's men's and women's Cross Country coach. Nolt attended Pfeiffer and graduated suma cum laude in 2001 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Philosophy.

Under Coach Nolt’s guidance last season, both the men’s and women’s teams were ranked in the top 10 in the region throughout much of the season. The men’s team finished last season 5th in Conference Carolinas and 9th in the NCAA Regional Championships. The women’s team finished 3rd overall in Conference Carolinas and finished 10th overall in the region.

In college, Nolt ran cross country for the Falcons during his four years at Pfeiffer. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team 3 out of 4 years and was voted team MVP in 2000. Before coming back to Pfeiffer, he was a Social Studies teacher at Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord. While there, Scott was the assistant track coach and the head cross country coach.

Coach Nolt was born and raised in Manitoba, Canada and now resides in Harrisburg, NC.
