Brophy's School-Record 30 Kills Lead Men's Volleyball to Second-Straight Tournament Title with 3-1 Win over Limestone
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – For the second-consecutive season, the Pfeiffer University men’s volleyball captured the 2013 Conference Carolinas men’s volleyball tournament championship scoring a 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 25-15) victory over Limestone College inside the Merner Gym on Saturday night. Caleb Brophy (Mission Viejo, CA) was named the tournament’s most outstanding player after putting down a school-record 30 kills. Brophy Guides #2 Men's Volleyball into Tourney Championship with 3-0 Win over Lees-McRae; HOST Limestone Saturday for Title!
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Caleb Brophy (Mission Viejo, CA) put down a match-high 18 kills hitting .517 helping second-seeded Pfeiffer University to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-17) sweep over third-seeded Lees-McRae College in the semifinal round of the 2013 Conference Carolinas men’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday. Coupled with Limestone’s win at Mount Olive, the Falcons will host the Saints in the championship match on Saturday (time TBA).
