MOUNT OLIVE, N. C. –  Five goals by Pfeiffer midfielder Kyle Barna proved not be enough to overcome the Mount Olive Trojans (11-3, 6-3 CC ) on Wednesday afternoon as the Falcons (7-8, 3-4 CC ) fell by the score of 18-9 at the McDonald Complex.

After one quarter of play the score was tied at 2-2. The Trojans took the early 1-0 lead and then Barna scored his first goal of the game with 8:45 left in a man up chance. The Falcons had no answer for the Trojans as they scored four unanswered goals in the second quarter.

Mount Olive and Pfeiffer scored a combined 11 goals in the third. Mount Olive struck first, but Barna connected two more times and then Jared Nelson tallied two but it still wasn't enough as the Trojans scored six more times to extend their lead to 13-6.
